With the creation of the Empire AI consortium, New York State is poised to lead the nation in this technology. Join us on June 5 as we bring together researchers, industry representatives, and innovative startups to identify opportunities and tackle challenges in AI and its related fields.
Keynote speaker, Thenkurussi “Kesh” Kesavadas, University at Albany’s Vice President for Research and Economic Development, will explore the power of AI to transform the delivery of health care and the role that New York State and its world-class public and private universities will play in advancing innovation.
Researchers Parminder Basran of Cornell University, Ciprian Ionita of University at Buffalo, Ricky Leung of University at Albany, Brendon Lutnick of Johnson & Johnson, WonKyung McSweeney of Baxter International, and PingkunYan of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, will discuss their research and the potential AI holds to transform our approach to medical care. Moderated by Michelle Bonn of Compliance Team.
Industry representatives Bhaskar Bulusu of QuidelOrtho, Syed Mahmood of Curia, Kristen Stebbins of Ichor Life Sciences, Naren Suri of Baxter International and Paul Yacci of DataCicada will address current applications of AI in the commercial realm and explore future product uses of this technology. Moderated by Jamie Grabowski of Curia.
Company founders Keith Fraser of ADuCare, Igor Lednev of Early Alzheimer’s Diagnostics LLC, Will Mangione of Meditati, and Allison Yacci of DataCicada will discuss how their startups are employing AI to revolutionize the delivery of healthcare. Moderated by Jeff Champagne of EPAM Systems.
